My work focuses on helping today’s executives and emerging executives to navigate change, transform their organizations and achieve success in an increasingly complex world. In doing this, I have learned that the change often needs to begin with transforming ourselves first.
Experience has brought me here. I’ve been that leader; I have been where you are. I get you and can speak your language, I understand the issues you’re facing and am equipped with the tools that will help you identify the choices in front of you. At the same time, I am a lifelong learner so as I discover new models and approaches, I freely share them with my clients so they too can benefit.
As a coach I stand alongside my clients: challenging them, believing in them, as they make their own decisions and carve out their own path to success.
I am their strategic partner, their confidante, their teacher, coach and biggest fan, as I help leaders build relationships, get the best out of their teams, and equip their organizations for greater success.
Lynda was previously the Deputy Minister and Head of British Columbia’s (Canada) Public Service Agency where she transformed the HR service delivery model to align with leading practice, increasing overall customer satisfaction by 19%, achieving a 10 point increase in employee engagement, while realizing a 30% reduction in the cost of transactional services. She attributes a great deal of this success to her strong focus on leadership development and the coaching culture that she championed, first inside the Agency and then more broadly across the public service.
Throughout her career, she has been a change agent. She’s led large business transformation and organization design projects, developed change strategies for major business and systems implementations, negotiated multi-million dollar outsourcing contracts, facilitated the development and implementation of corporate HR and business strategies that have resulted in national recognition, supported the public response to a number of high profile and sensitive issues and advised and coached business leaders from front line managers through to executives and politicians.
Lynda has lived the leadership challenges and opportunities she has developed her frameworks on. She has designed new organizations, solved financial challenges, affected dramatic organizational change, recruited, led and developed high-performing teams, created strong cultures and designed strategies to streamline operations and improve customer satisfaction.
